حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ، قَالَتْ دَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَنَحْنُ نُغَسِّلُ ابْنَتَهُ أُمَّ كُلْثُومٍ فَقَالَ " اغْسِلْنَهَا ثَلاَثًا أَوْ خَمْسًا أَوْ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكِ إِنْ رَأَيْتُنَّ ذَلِكِ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَاجْعَلْنَ فِي الآخِرَةِ كَافُورًا أَوْ شَيْئًا مِنْ كَافُورٍ فَإِذَا فَرَغْتُنَّ فَآذِنَّنِي " . فَلَمَّا فَرَغْنَا آذَنَّاهُ فَأَلْقَى إِلَيْنَا حَقْوَهُ . وَقَالَ " أَشْعِرْنَهَا إِيَّاهُ " .
Muhammad bin Sirin narrated that Umm ‘Atiyyah said:“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered upon us when we were washing his daughter Umm Kulthum. He said: ‘Wash her three or five times, or more than that if you think you need to, with water and lote leaves, and put camphor or a little camphor in (the water) for the last washing. When you have finished, call for me.’ When we finished, we called him, and he gave his waist-wrapper to us and said: ‘Shroud her with it.’”Rapporté par Muhammad bin Sirin d’après Umm ‘Atiyyah : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) est entré chez nous pendant que nous lavions sa fille Umm Kulthum. Il a dit : « Lavez-la trois ou cinq fois, ou plus si vous le jugez nécessaire, avec de l’eau et des feuilles de jujubier, et mettez du camphre ou un peu de camphre dans l’eau pour le dernier lavage. Quand vous aurez fini, appelez-moi. » Quand nous avons terminé, nous l’avons appelé, et il nous a donné son pagne en disant : « Enveloppez-la dedans. »Grades given by scholars
