Sunan Ibn Majah, 1430

It was narrated from Yazid bin Abu ‘Ubaid that Salamah bin Al-Akwa’ used to offer the Duha prayer, and he would come to the pillar that was near the Mushaf. I said to him:“Why do you not pray over there?” And I pointed to some corner of the mosque. He said: “I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) seeking out this place.”

Rapporté par Yazid bin Abu ‘Ubaid : Salamah bin Al-Akwa’ avait l’habitude de prier la prière du Duha, et il venait près du pilier qui était à côté du Mushaf. Je lui ai dit : “Pourquoi ne pries-tu pas là-bas ?” en montrant un coin de la mosquée. Il a répondu : “J’ai vu le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) choisir cet endroit.”
