Sunan Ibn Majah, 1310

It was narrated that Iyas bin Abi Ramlah Ash-Shami said:“I heard a man asking Zaid bin Arqam: ‘Were you present with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when there were two ‘Eid on one day?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ He said: ‘What did he do?’ He said: ‘He prayed the ‘Eid prayer, then he granted a concession not to pray the Friday, then he said: “Whoever wants to pray (Friday), let him do so.”’”

Rapporté par Iyas bin Abi Ramlah Ash-Shami : J’ai entendu un homme demander à Zaid bin Arqam : “As-tu été avec le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) lorsqu’il y a eu deux Aïd le même jour ?” Il a répondu : “Oui.” Il a demandé : “Qu’a-t-il fait ?” Il a répondu : “Il a accompli la prière de l’Aïd, puis il a accordé une dispense de la prière du vendredi, puis il a dit : ‘Que celui qui veut prier (le vendredi) le fasse.’”
