Sunan Ibn Majah, 1273

It was narrated that ‘Ata’ said:“I heard Ibn ‘Abbas say: ‘I bear witness that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed before the sermon, then he delivered the sermon. And he thought that the women had not heard, so he went over to them and reminded them (of Allah) and preached to them and enjoined them to give in charity, and Bilal was spreading his hands like this, and the women started giving their earrings, rings and things.’”

Rapporté par ‘Ata’ : J’ai entendu Ibn ‘Abbas dire : « Je témoigne que le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a prié avant le sermon, puis il a fait le sermon. Et il a pensé que les femmes n’avaient pas entendu, alors il est allé vers elles et leur a rappelé (Allah) et leur a fait un rappel et leur a demandé de donner en aumône, et Bilal tendait ses mains comme ceci, et les femmes ont commencé à donner leurs boucles d’oreilles, bagues et autres objets. »
