Sunan Ibn Majah, 121

It was narrated that Sa`d bin Waqqas said:"Mu`awiyah came on one of his pilgrimages and Sa`d entered upon him. They mentioned `Ali, and Mu`awiyah criticized him. Sa`d became angry and said: 'Are you saying this of a man of whom I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: "If I am a person's close friend, `Ali is also his close friend." And I heard him say: "You are to me like Harun was to Musa, except that there will be no Prophet after me." And I heard him say: "I will give the banner today to a man who loves Allah and His Messenger

Rapporté par Sa‘d bin Waqqas : Mu‘awiyah est venu lors d’un de ses pèlerinages et Sa‘d est entré chez lui. Ils ont parlé de ‘Ali, et Mu‘awiyah l’a critiqué. Sa‘d s’est fâché et a dit : « Tu parles ainsi d’un homme dont j’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) dire : “Si je suis l’ami proche de quelqu’un, ‘Ali l’est aussi.” Et je l’ai entendu dire : “Tu es pour moi comme Harun l’était pour Musa, sauf qu’il n’y aura pas de Prophète après moi.” Et je l’ai entendu dire : “Je donnerai aujourd’hui l’étendard à un homme qui aime Allah et Son Messager.” »
