Narrated Mus`ab bin Sa`d:I offered prayer beside my father and approximated both my hands and placed them in between the knees. My father told me not to do so and said, "We used to do the same but we were forbidden (by the Prophet) to do it and were ordered to place the hands on the knees

Rapporté par Mus`ab bin Sa`d : J’ai prié à côté de mon père et j’ai rapproché mes mains en les plaçant entre mes genoux. Mon père m’a dit de ne pas faire cela et a ajouté : Nous faisions pareil, mais le Prophète nous l’a interdit et nous a ordonné de poser les mains sur les genoux
