Sahih al-Bukhari, 7402

Narrated Abu Huraira:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) sent ten persons to bring the enemy's secrets and Khubaib Al-Ansari was one of them. 'Ubaidullah bin 'Iyad told me that the daughter of Al-Harith told him that when they gathered (to kill Khubaib Al Ansari) he asked for a razor to clean his pubic region, and when they had taken him outside the sanctuary of Mecca in order to kill him, he said in verse, "I don't care if I am killed as a Muslim, on any side (of my body) I may be killed in Allah's Cause; for that is for the sake of Allah's very Self; and if He will, He will bestow His Blessings upon the torn pieces of my body." Then Ibn Al-Harith killed him, and the Prophet (ﷺ) informed his companions of the death of those (ten men) on the very day they were killed

Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) envoya dix personnes pour recueillir des informations sur l’ennemi, et Khubaib Al-Ansari était l’un d’eux. ‘Ubaidullah bin ‘Iyad m’a rapporté que la fille d’Al-Harith lui a dit que, lorsqu’ils se sont rassemblés pour tuer Khubaib Al-Ansari, il a demandé un rasoir pour se raser la région pubienne. Quand ils l’ont emmené hors du sanctuaire de La Mecque pour le tuer, il a récité en vers : « Peu m’importe d’être tué en tant que musulman, peu importe de quel côté je serai frappé dans la cause d’Allah ; car c’est pour Allah Lui-même ; et s’Il le veut, Il bénira les morceaux de mon corps déchiré. » Puis Ibn Al-Harith l’a tué, et le Prophète (ﷺ) a informé ses compagnons de la mort de ces dix hommes le jour même où ils ont été tués
