Sahih al-Bukhari, 739

Narrated Nafi`:Whenever Ibn `Umar started the prayer with Takbir, he used to raise his hands: whenever he bowed, he used to raise his hands (before bowing) and also used to raise his hands on saying, "Sami`a l-lahu liman hamidah", and he used to do the same on rising from the second rak`a (for the 3rd rak`a). Rapporté par Nafi‘ : Chaque fois qu’Ibn ‘Umar commençait la prière avec le Takbir, il levait les mains ; chaque fois qu’il s’inclinait, il levait les mains (avant de s’incliner) et il levait aussi les mains en disant : « Sami‘a l-lahu liman hamidah. » Il faisait de même en se relevant de la deuxième rak‘a (pour la troisième). Ibn ‘Umar a dit : « Le Prophète ﷺ faisait la même chose. »
