Sahih al-Bukhari, 7373

Narrated Mu`adh bin Jabal:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O Mu`adh! Do you know what Allah's Right upon His slaves is?" I said, "Allah and His Apostle know best." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "To worship Him (Allah) Alone and to join none in worship with Him (Allah). Do you know what their right upon Him is?" I replied, "Allah and His Apostle know best." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Not to punish them (if they do so)

Rapporté par Mu`adh bin Jabal : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Ô Mu`adh ! Sais-tu quel est le droit d’Allah sur Ses serviteurs ? » J’ai répondu : « Allah et Son Messager savent mieux. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « C’est qu’ils L’adorent Lui seul et qu’ils n’associent rien à Lui dans l’adoration. Sais-tu quel est leur droit sur Lui ? » J’ai répondu : « Allah et Son Messager savent mieux. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « C’est qu’Il ne les punisse pas s’ils font cela. »
