Sahih al-Bukhari, 7220

Narrated Jubair bin Mut`im:A woman came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and spoke to him about something and he told her to return to him. She said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! If I come and do not find you?" (As if she meant, "...if you die?") The Prophet said, "If you should not find me, then go to Abu Bakr

Rapporté par Jubair bin Mut`im : Une femme est venue voir le Prophète (ﷺ) et lui a parlé de quelque chose, et il lui a dit de revenir le voir. Elle a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ! Si je viens et que je ne te trouve pas ? » (Comme si elle voulait dire : « ...si tu meurs ? ») Le Prophète a dit : « Si tu ne me trouves pas, alors va voir Abu Bakr. »
