Sahih al-Bukhari, 6716

Narrated `Amr:Jabir said: An Ansari man made his slave a Mudabbar and he had no other property than him. When the Prophet (ﷺ) heard of that, he said (to his companions), "Who wants to buy him (i.e., the slave) for me?" Nu'aim bin An-Nahham bought him for eight hundred Dirhams. Rapporté par `Amr : Jabir a dit : Un homme des Ansar a fait de son esclave un Mudabbar et il n’avait aucun autre bien que lui. Quand le Prophète (ﷺ) l’a appris, il a dit à ses compagnons : « Qui veut l’acheter pour moi ? » Nu’aim bin An-Nahham l’a acheté pour huit cents dirhams. J’ai entendu Jabir dire : « C’était un esclave copte qui est mort la même année. »
