Sahih al-Bukhari, 6526

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:The Prophet (ﷺ) stood up among us and addressed (saying) "You will be gathered, barefooted, naked, and uncircumcised (as Allah says): 'As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it..' (21.104) And the first human being to be dressed on the Day of Resurrection will be (the Prophet) Abraham Al-Khalil. Then will be brought some men of my followers who will be taken towards the left (i.e., to the Fire), and I will say: 'O Lord! My companions whereupon Allah will say: You do not know what they did after you left them. I will then say as the pious slave, Jesus said, And I was witness over them while I dwelt amongst them..........(up to) ...the All-Wise.' (5.117-118). The narrator added: Then it will be said that those people (relegated from Islam, that is) kept on turning on their heels (deserted Islam)

Rapporté par Ibn `Abbas : Le Prophète (ﷺ) s'est levé parmi nous et a dit : « Vous serez rassemblés pieds nus, nus et non circoncis, comme Allah le dit : 'Comme Nous avons commencé la première création, Nous la répéterons...' (21.104). Et la première personne à être habillée le Jour de la Résurrection sera (le Prophète) Ibrahim Al-Khalil. Ensuite, certains hommes de ma communauté seront amenés vers la gauche (c'est-à-dire vers le Feu), et je dirai : 'Ô Seigneur ! Mes compagnons !' Alors Allah dira : Tu ne sais pas ce qu'ils ont fait après ton départ. Je dirai alors comme le serviteur pieux, Jésus, a dit : 'Et j'étais témoin sur eux tant que je suis resté parmi eux...' (jusqu'à) ...le Tout-Sage.' (5.117-118). » Le narrateur a ajouté : « Il sera alors dit que ces gens-là (qui ont quitté l'islam) ont continué à revenir sur leurs pas (ont abandonné l'islam). »
