Sahih al-Bukhari, 62

Narrated Ibn `Umar:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Amongst the trees, there is a tree, the leaves of which do not fall and is like a Muslim. Tell me the name of that tree." Everybody started thinking about the trees of the desert areas. And I thought of the date-palm tree. The others then asked, "Please inform us what is that tree, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)?" He replied, "It is the date-palm tree

Rapporté par Ibn `Umar : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Parmi les arbres, il y a un arbre dont les feuilles ne tombent pas et qui ressemble au musulman. Dites-moi le nom de cet arbre. » Tout le monde a commencé à penser aux arbres du désert. J’ai pensé au palmier-dattier. Les autres ont alors demandé : « Dis-nous quel est cet arbre, ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ? » Il a répondu : « C’est le palmier-dattier. »
