Sahih al-Bukhari, 609

Narrated `Abdur-Rahman:Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri told my father, "I see you liking sheep and the wilderness. So whenever you are with your sheep or in the wilderness and you want to pronounce Adhan for the prayer raise your voice in doing so, for whoever hears the Adhan, whether a human being, a jinn or any other creature, will be a witness for you on the Day of Resurrection." Abu Sa`id added, "I heard it (this narration) from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)

Rapporté par `Abdur-Rahman : Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri a dit à mon père : « Je vois que tu aimes les moutons et la vie au grand air. Donc, chaque fois que tu es avec tes moutons ou dans la nature et que tu veux prononcer l’Adhan pour la prière, élève la voix, car quiconque entend l’Adhan, qu’il soit humain, djinn ou autre créature, témoignera en ta faveur le Jour de la Résurrection. » Abu Sa`id a ajouté : « J’ai entendu cela du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ). »
