Sahih al-Bukhari, 6023

Narrated `Adi bin Hatim:The Prophet (ﷺ) mentioned the (Hell) Fire and sought refuge (with Allah) from it, and turned his face to the other side. He mentioned the (Hell) Fire again and took refuge (with Allah) from it and turned his face to the other side. (Shu`ba, the sub-narrator, said, "I have no doubt that the Prophet (ﷺ) repeated it twice.") The Prophet (ﷺ) then said, "(O people!) Save yourselves from the (Hell) Fire even if with one half of a date fruit (given in charity), and if this is not available, then (save yourselves) by saying a good pleasant friendly word

Rapporté par `Adi bin Hatim : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a parlé du Feu (de l’Enfer) et a demandé la protection d’Allah contre lui, puis il a tourné son visage de l’autre côté. Il a de nouveau parlé du Feu (de l’Enfer), a demandé la protection d’Allah contre lui et a tourné son visage de l’autre côté. (Shu`ba, le sous-rappoteur, a dit : « Je ne doute pas que le Prophète (ﷺ) l’a répété deux fois. ») Le Prophète (ﷺ) a ensuite dit : « Ô gens ! Protégez-vous du Feu (de l’Enfer) même avec la moitié d’une datte (en aumône), et si vous n’en avez pas, alors (protégez-vous) en disant une bonne parole, agréable et amicale. »
