Sahih al-Bukhari, 5677

Narrated `Aisha:When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) emigrated to Medina, Abu Bakr and Bilal had a fever. I entered upon them and said, "O my father! How are you? O Bilal! How are you?" Whenever Abu Bakr got the fever he used to say, "Everybody is staying alive with his people, yet death is nearer to him than his shoe laces." And when fever deserted Bilal, he would recite (two poetic verses): "Would that I could stay overnight in a valley wherein I would be surrounded by Idhkhir and Jalil (two kinds of good smelling grass). Would that one day I could drink of the water of Majinna, and would that Shama and Tafil (two mountains at Mecca) would appear to me!" I went to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and informed him about that. He said, "O Allah! Make us love Medina as much or more than we love Mecca, and make it healthy, and bless its Sa and its Mudd, and take away its fever and put it in Al-Juhfa." (See Hadith No)

Rapporté par `Aisha : Quand le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a émigré à Médine, Abu Bakr et Bilal ont eu de la fièvre. Je suis allée les voir et j’ai dit : « Ô mon père ! Comment vas-tu ? Ô Bilal ! Comment vas-tu ? » Chaque fois qu’Abu Bakr avait de la fièvre, il disait : « Chacun reste vivant parmi les siens, mais la mort est plus proche de lui que ses lacets de chaussures. » Et quand la fièvre quittait Bilal, il récitait deux vers poétiques : « Si seulement je pouvais passer une nuit dans une vallée entourée d’Idhkhir et de Jalil (deux sortes d’herbes parfumées). Si seulement je pouvais boire un jour de l’eau de Majinna, et que Shama et Tafil (deux montagnes à La Mecque) apparaissent devant moi ! » Je suis allée informer le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) de cela. Il a dit : « Ô Allah ! Fais que nous aimions Médine autant ou plus que nous aimons La Mecque, rends-la saine, bénis son Sa’ et son Mudd, enlève sa fièvre et mets-la à Al-Juhfa. »
