Narrated Jabir:We went out in a campaign and the army was called The Army of the Khabat, and Abu 'Ubaida was our commander. We were struck with severe hunger. Then the sea threw a huge dead fish called Al- `Anbar, the like of which had never been seen. We ate of it for half a month, and then Abu 'Ubaida took one of its bones (and made an arch of it) so that a rider could easily pass under it

Rapporté par Jabir : Nous sommes partis en expédition et l'armée s'appelait l'Armée du Khabt, avec Abu 'Ubaida comme commandant. Nous avons souffert d'une grande faim. Puis la mer a rejeté un énorme poisson mort appelé Al-`Anbar, comme on n'en avait jamais vu. Nous en avons mangé pendant une quinzaine de jours, puis Abu 'Ubaida a pris un de ses os (et en a fait une arche) sous laquelle un cavalier pouvait passer facilement
