Sahih al-Bukhari, 5349

Narrated Sa`id bin Jubair:I said to Ibn `Umar, "If a man accuses his wife of illegal sexual intercourse (what is the judgment)?" He said, "Allah's Prophet separated the couple of Bani 'Ajlan (when the husband accused his wife for an illegal sexual intercourse). The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'Allah knows that one of you two IS a liar; so will one of you repent?' But they refused. He then again said, 'Allah knows that one of you two is a liar; so will one of you repent?' But they refused, whereupon he separated them by divorce." Aiyub (a subnarrator) said: `Amr bin Dinar said to me, "In the narration there is something which I do not see you mentioning, i.e. the husband said, "What about my money (Mahr)?' The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You are not entitled to take back money, for if you told the truth you have already entered upon her (and consummated your marriage with her) and if you are a liar then you are less entitled to take it back

Rapporté par Sa`id bin Jubair : J’ai demandé à Ibn `Umar : « Si un homme accuse sa femme d’adultère, quel est le jugement ? » Il a répondu : « Le Prophète d’Allah a séparé le couple des Bani 'Ajlan (quand le mari a accusé sa femme d’adultère). Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : ‘Allah sait que l’un de vous deux ment ; l’un de vous veut-il se repentir ?’ Mais ils ont refusé. Il a répété : ‘Allah sait que l’un de vous deux ment ; l’un de vous veut-il se repentir ?’ Mais ils ont encore refusé, alors il les a séparés par le divorce. » Aiyub (un sous-narrateur) a dit : `Amr bin Dinar m’a dit : « Dans le récit, il y a quelque chose que je ne t’ai pas entendu mentionner, c’est-à-dire que le mari a dit : ‘Et mon argent (Mahr) ?’ Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : ‘Tu n’as pas le droit de reprendre cet argent, car si tu dis la vérité, tu as déjà eu des relations avec elle (et consommé le mariage), et si tu mens, tu as encore moins le droit de le reprendre.’ »
