Sahih al-Bukhari, 5251

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:that he had divorced his wife while she was menstruating during the lifetime of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) . `Umar bin Al-Khattab asked Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) about that. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Order him (your son) to take her back and keep her till she is clean and then to wait till she gets her next period and becomes clean again, whereupon, if he wishes to keep her, he can do so, and if he wishes to divorce her he can divorce her before having sexual intercourse with her; and that is the prescribed period which Allah has fixed for the women meant to be divorced

Rapporté par `Abdullah bin `Umar : Il avait divorcé de sa femme alors qu’elle avait ses règles, du vivant du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ). `Umar bin Al-Khattab a interrogé le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) à ce sujet. Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Ordonne-lui (ton fils) de la reprendre et de la garder jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit purifiée, puis d’attendre qu’elle ait ses prochaines règles et qu’elle soit de nouveau purifiée. Ensuite, s’il veut la garder, il peut le faire, et s’il veut divorcer, il peut divorcer avant d’avoir des rapports avec elle. C’est la période fixée par Allah pour les femmes qui doivent être divorcées. »
