Sahih al-Bukhari, 5084

Narrated Abu Huraira:The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Abraham did not tell lies except three. (One of them was) when Abraham passed by a tyrant and (his wife) Sara was accompanying him (Abu Huraira then mentioned the whole narration and said:) (The tyrant) gave her Hajar. Sara said, "Allah saved me from the hands of the Kafir (i.e. infidel) and gave me Hajar to serve me." (Abu Huraira added:) That (Hajar) is your mother, O Banu Ma'-As-Sama' (i.e., the Arabs)

Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Abraham n’a menti que trois fois. (L’une de ces fois) c’est quand Abraham est passé devant un tyran alors que (sa femme) Sara l’accompagnait. » (Abu Huraira a ensuite raconté toute l’histoire et a dit :) « (Le tyran) lui a donné Hajar. Sara a dit : ‘Allah m’a sauvée des mains de ce mécréant et m’a donné Hajar pour me servir.’ » (Abu Huraira a ajouté :) « C’est elle (Hajar) votre mère, ô Banu Ma’-As-Sama’ (c’est-à-dire, les Arabes). »
