Sahih al-Bukhari, 4980

Narrated Abu `Uthman:I was informed that Gabriel came to the Prophet (ﷺ) while Um Salama was with him. Gabriel started talking (to the Prophet). Then the Prophet (ﷺ) asked Um Salama, "Who is this?" She replied, "He is Dihya (al-Kalbi)." When Gabriel had left, Um Salama said, "By Allah, I did not take him for anybody other than him (i.e. Dihya) till I heard the sermon of the Prophet (ﷺ) wherein he informed about the news of Gabriel." The subnarrator asked Abu `Uthman: From whom have you heard that? Abu `Uthman said: From Usama bin Zaid

Rapporté par Abu `Uthman : On m’a informé que Gabriel est venu voir le Prophète (ﷺ) pendant que Umm Salama était avec lui. Gabriel a commencé à parler avec le Prophète. Ensuite, le Prophète (ﷺ) a demandé à Umm Salama : « Qui est-ce ? » Elle a répondu : « C’est Dihya (al-Kalbi). » Quand Gabriel est parti, Umm Salama a dit : « Par Allah, je n’ai pensé à personne d’autre qu’à lui (c’est-à-dire Dihya) jusqu’à ce que j’entende le sermon du Prophète (ﷺ) où il a parlé de la venue de Gabriel. » Le sous-rappoteur a demandé à Abu `Uthman : De qui as-tu entendu cela ? Abu `Uthman a répondu : D’Usama bin Zaid
