Sahih al-Bukhari, 4925

Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah:I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) describing the period of pause of the Divine Inspiration. He said in his talk, "While I was walking, I heard voices from the sky. I looked up, and behold ! I saw the same Angel who came to me in the cave of Hira' sitting on a chair between the sky and the earth. I was too much afraid of him (so I returned to my house) and said, 'Fold me up in garments!' They wrapped me up. Then Allah revealed: 'O you wrapped...and desert the idols before the prayer became compulsory.' Rujz means idols

Rapporté par Jabir bin `Abdullah : J'ai entendu le Prophète (ﷺ) décrire la période d'interruption de la Révélation. Il a dit dans son récit : « Pendant que je marchais, j'ai entendu des voix venant du ciel. J'ai levé les yeux et, voilà ! J'ai vu le même Ange qui était venu à moi dans la grotte de Hira, assis sur une chaise entre le ciel et la terre. J'ai eu très peur de lui (alors je suis rentré chez moi) et j'ai dit : Enveloppez-moi dans des vêtements ! Ils m'ont enveloppé. Ensuite, Allah a révélé : Ô toi qui es enveloppé… et abandonne les idoles avant que la prière ne devienne obligatoire. » Rujz signifie idoles
