حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ حُمَيْدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ بَعَثَهُ فِي الْحَجَّةِ الَّتِي أَمَّرَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَيْهَا قَبْلَ حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فِي رَهْطٍ يُؤَذِّنُ فِي النَّاسِ أَنْ لاَ يَحُجَّنَّ بَعْدَ الْعَامِ مُشْرِكٌ وَلاَ يَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ عُرْيَانٌ‏.‏ فَكَانَ حُمَيْدٌ يَقُولُ يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ يَوْمُ الْحَجِّ الأَكْبَرِ‏.‏ مِنْ أَجْلِ حَدِيثِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ‏.‏

Narrated Humaid bin `Abdur-Rahman:Abu Huraira said that Abu Bakr sent him during the Hajj in which Abu Bakr was made the chief of the pilgrims by Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) before (the year of) Hajjat al-Wada` in a group (of announcers) to announce before the people; 'No pagan shall perform the Hajj after this year, and none shall perform the Tawaf around the Ka`ba in a naked state. Humaid used to say The Day of Nahr is the day of Al- Hajj Al-Akbar (the Greatest Day) because of the narration of Abu Huraira

Rapporté par Humaid bin `Abdur-Rahman : Abu Huraira a dit qu’Abu Bakr l’a envoyé pendant le Hajj où le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) avait désigné Abu Bakr comme chef des pèlerins, dans un groupe d’annonceurs, pour proclamer devant les gens : « Aucun polythéiste ne fera le Hajj après cette année, et personne ne fera le Tawaf autour de la Ka`ba nu. » Humaid disait : Le jour du Nahr est le jour d’Al-Hajj Al-Akbar (le plus grand jour du Hajj) à cause du récit d’Abu Huraira
