Sahih al-Bukhari, 4199

Narrated Anas bin Malik:Someone came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said, "The donkeys have been eaten (by the Muslims)." The Prophet kept quiet. Then the man came again and said, "The donkeys have been eaten." The Prophet (ﷺ) kept quiet. The man came to him the third time and said, "The donkeys have been consumed." On that the Prophet (ﷺ) ordered an announcer to announce to the people, "Allah and His Apostle forbid you to eat the meat of donkeys." Then the cooking pots were upset while the meat was still boiling in them

Rapporté par Anas ibn Malik : Quelqu’un est venu voir le Messager d’Allah ﷺ et a dit : « Les ânes ont été mangés (par les musulmans). » Le Prophète est resté silencieux. L’homme est revenu et a dit : « Les ânes ont été mangés. » Le Prophète ﷺ est resté silencieux. L’homme est revenu une troisième fois et a dit : « Les ânes ont été consommés. » Alors le Prophète ﷺ a ordonné à un crieur d’annoncer aux gens : « Allah et Son Messager vous interdisent de manger la viande d’âne. » Ensuite, les marmites ont été renversées alors que la viande y bouillait encore
