Sahih al-Bukhari, 3965

Narrated Abu Mijlaz:From Qais bin Ubad: `Ali bin Abi Talib said, "I shall be the first man to kneel down before (Allah), the Beneficent to receive His judgment on the day of Resurrection (in my favor)." Qais bin Ubad also said, "The following Verse was revealed in their connection:-- "These two opponents believers and disbelievers) Dispute with each other About their Lord." (22.19) Qais said that they were those who fought on the day of Badr, namely, Hamza, `Ali, 'Ubaida or Abu 'Ubaida bin Al-Harith, Shaiba bin Rabi`a, `Utba and Al-Walid bin `Utba

Rapporté par Abu Mijlaz : Selon Qais bin Ubad : `Ali bin Abi Talib a dit : « Je serai le premier homme à m'agenouiller devant (Allah), le Tout Miséricordieux, pour recevoir Son jugement en ma faveur le Jour de la Résurrection. » Qais bin Ubad a aussi dit : « Le verset suivant a été révélé à leur sujet : “Ces deux groupes (croyants et mécréants) disputent au sujet de leur Seigneur.” (22:19) » Qais a dit qu'il s'agissait de ceux qui ont combattu le jour de Badr, à savoir Hamza, `Ali, 'Ubaida ou Abu 'Ubaida bin Al-Harith, Shaiba bin Rabi`a, `Utba et Al-Walid bin `Utba
