Sahih al-Bukhari, 3825

Narrated 'Aishah (ra):Hind bint 'Utba came and said, "O Allah's Messenger! (Before I embraced Islam) there was no family on the surface of the earth I wished to see in degradation more than I did your family, but today there is no family on the surface of the earth I wish to see honored more than I did yours." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I thought similarly, by Him in whose Hand my soul is!" She further said, "O Allah's Messenger ! Abu Sufyan is a miser, so, is it sinful of me to feed my children from his property ?" He said, "I do not allow it unless you take for your needs what is just and reasonable

Rapporté par ‘Aisha (رضي الله عنها) : Hind bint ‘Utba est venue et a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah ! (Avant que je devienne musulmane) il n’y avait pas de famille sur terre que je voulais voir humiliée plus que la tienne, mais aujourd’hui il n’y a pas de famille que je souhaite voir honorée plus que la tienne. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « J’ai pensé la même chose, par Celui qui tient mon âme dans Sa main ! » Elle a ajouté : « Ô Messager d’Allah ! Abu Sufyan est avare, alors est-ce un péché si je prends dans ses biens pour nourrir mes enfants ? » Il a répondu : « Je ne le permets que si tu prends ce qui est juste et raisonnable pour tes besoins. »
