Sahih al-Bukhari, 3821

Narrated 'Aisha:Once Hala bint Khuwailid, Khadija's sister, asked the permission of the Prophet (ﷺ) to enter. On that, the Prophet (ﷺ) remembered the way Khadija used to ask permission, and that upset him. He said, "O Allah! Hala!" So I became jealous and said, "What makes you remember an old woman amongst the old women of Quraish an old woman (with a teethless mouth) of red gums who died long ago, and in whose place Allah has given you somebody better than her?

Rapporté par ‘Aisha : Un jour, Hala bint Khuwailid, la sœur de Khadija, a demandé la permission d’entrer auprès du Prophète (ﷺ). À ce moment-là, le Prophète (ﷺ) s’est souvenu de la façon dont Khadija demandait la permission, et cela l’a touché. Il a dit : « Ô Allah ! Hala ! » Alors je suis devenue jalouse et j’ai dit : « Pourquoi te rappelles-tu une vieille femme parmi les vieilles femmes de Quraish, une vieille femme (sans dents) aux gencives rouges qui est morte depuis longtemps, alors qu’Allah t’a donné quelqu’un de meilleur qu’elle ? »
