Sahih al-Bukhari, 3789

Narrated Abu Usaid:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The best of the Ansar's families (homes) are those of Banu An-Najjar and then (those of) Banu `Abdul Ash-hal, then (those of) Banu Al-Harith bin Al-Khazraj and then (those of) Banu Sa`ida; nevertheless, there is good in all the families (houses) of the Ansar." On this, Sa`d (bin Ubada) said, "I see that the Prophet (ﷺ) has preferred some people to us." Somebody said (to him), "No, but he has given you superiority to many." (Hadith similar to above with a different chain)

Rapporté par Abu Usaid : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Les meilleures familles parmi les Ansar sont celles des Banu An-Najjar, puis celles des Banu `Abdul Ash-hal, ensuite celles des Banu Al-Harith bin Al-Khazraj et enfin celles des Banu Sa`ida. Cependant, il y a du bien dans toutes les familles des Ansar. » À cela, Sa`d (bin Ubada) a dit : « Je vois que le Prophète (ﷺ) a préféré certaines personnes à nous. » Quelqu’un lui a répondu : « Non, mais il t’a donné la supériorité sur beaucoup d’autres. »
