Sahih al-Bukhari, 3650

Narrated `Imran bin Husain:"Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, 'The best of my followers are those living in my generation (i.e. my contemporaries). and then those who will follow the latter" `Imran added, "I do not remember whether he mentioned two or three generations after his generation, then the Prophet (ﷺ) added, 'There will come after you, people who will bear witness without being asked to do so, and will be treacherous and untrustworthy, and they will vow and never fulfill their vows, and fatness will appear among them

Rapporté par `Imran bin Husain : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Les meilleurs de mes compagnons sont ceux de ma génération (c’est-à-dire mes contemporains), puis ceux qui viendront après eux. » `Imran a ajouté : « Je ne me souviens plus s’il a mentionné deux ou trois générations après la sienne. » Puis le Prophète (ﷺ) a ajouté : « Après vous, il viendra des gens qui témoigneront sans qu’on leur demande, qui trahiront et ne seront pas dignes de confiance, qui feront des promesses sans jamais les tenir, et l’embonpoint apparaîtra parmi eux. »
