حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " هَلْ لَكُمْ مِنْ أَنْمَاطٍ ". قُلْتُ وَأَنَّى يَكُونُ لَنَا الأَنْمَاطُ قَالَ " أَمَا إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ لَكُمُ الأَنْمَاطُ ". فَأَنَا أَقُولُ لَهَا ـ يَعْنِي امْرَأَتَهُ ـ أَخِّرِي عَنِّي أَنْمَاطَكِ. فَتَقُولُ أَلَمْ يَقُلِ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ لَكُمُ الأَنْمَاطُ ". فَأَدَعُهَا.
Narrated Jabir:(Once) the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Have you got carpets?" I replied, "Whence can we get carpets?" He said, "But you shall soon have carpets." I used to say to my wife, "Remove your carpets from my sight," but she would say, "Didn't the Prophet (ﷺ) tell you that you would soon have carpets?" So I would give up my requestRapporté par Jabir : Un jour, le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Avez-vous des tapis ? » J’ai répondu : « Comment pourrions-nous avoir des tapis ? » Il a dit : « Mais bientôt, vous aurez des tapis. » J’avais l’habitude de dire à ma femme : « Enlève tes tapis de devant moi », mais elle me répondait : « Le Prophète (ﷺ) ne t’a-t-il pas dit que vous auriez bientôt des tapis ? » Alors j’arrêtais de lui demanderGrades given by scholars
