Narrated Abu Salama bin `Abdur-Rahman:That he asked `Aisha "How was the prayer of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) in the month of Ramadan?" She replied, "He used not to pray more than eleven rak`at whether in Ramadan or in any other month. He used to offer four rak`at, let alone their beauty and length, and then four rak`at, let alone their beauty and length. Afterwards he would offer three rak`at. I said, 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Il faisait quatre rak`at, et leur beauté et leur longueur étaient remarquables, puis quatre autres rak`at, tout aussi belles et longues. Ensuite, il faisait trois rak`at. J'ai dit : Ô Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) ! Vas-tu te coucher avant de faire la prière du witr ? » Il a répondu : « Mes yeux dorment, mais mon cœur ne dort pas. »Grades given by scholars
