حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبَايَةَ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي رَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَوْرِ جَهَنَّمَ، فَأَبْرِدُوهَا عَنْكُمْ بِالْمَاءِ ‏"‏‏.‏

Narrated Rafi` bin Khadij:I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "Fever is from the heat of the (Hell) Fire; so cool it with water

Rapporté par Rafi` bin Khadij : J’ai entendu le Prophète (ﷺ) dire : « La fièvre vient de la chaleur du Feu (de l’Enfer) ; alors rafraîchissez-la avec de l’eau. »
