Sahih al-Bukhari, 3258

Narrated Abu Dhar:While the Prophet (ﷺ) was on a journey, he said (regarding the performance of the Zuhr prayer), "Wait till it (i.e. the weather) gets cooler." He said the same again till the shade of the hillocks extended. Then he said, "Delay the (Zuhr) Prayer till it gets cooler, for the severity of heat is from the increase in heat of Hell (fire)

Rapporté par Abu Dhar : Pendant que le Prophète (ﷺ) était en voyage, il a dit (concernant la prière du Zuhr) : « Attendez que la température baisse. » Il a répété cela jusqu’à ce que l’ombre des collines s’allonge. Puis il a dit : « Retardez la prière du Zuhr jusqu’à ce qu’il fasse plus frais, car la forte chaleur vient de l’intensité de la chaleur du Feu de l’Enfer. »
