Sahih al-Bukhari, 3197

Narrated Abu Bakra:The Prophet (ﷺ) said. "(The division of time has turned to its original form which was current when Allah created the Heavens and the Earths. The year is of twelve months, out of which four months are sacred: Three are in succession Dhul-Qa' da, Dhul-Hijja and Muharram, and (the fourth is) Rajab of (the tribe of) Mudar which comes between Jumada-ath-Thaniyah and Sha`ban

Rapporté par Abu Bakra : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Le temps est revenu à sa forme d’origine telle qu’elle était quand Allah a créé les cieux et la terre. L’année compte douze mois, dont quatre sont sacrés : trois se suivent, Dhul-Qa’da, Dhul-Hijja et Muharram, et (le quatrième est) Rajab de (la tribu de) Mudar, qui se trouve entre Jumada ath-Thaniyah et Sha’ban. »
