Sahih al-Bukhari, 3020

Narrated Jarir:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to me, "Will you relieve me from Dhul-Khalasa? Dhul-Khalasa was a house (of an idol) belonging to the tribe of Khath'am called Al-Ka`ba Al-Yama-niya. So, I proceeded with one hundred and fifty cavalry men from the tribe of Ahmas, who were excellent knights. It happened that I could not sit firm on horses, so the Prophet (ﷺ) , stroke me over my chest till I saw his finger-marks over my chest, he said, 'O Allah! Make him firm and make him a guiding and rightly guided man.' " Jarir proceeded towards that house, and dismantled and burnt it. Then he sent a messenger to Allah's Apostle informing him of that. Jarir's messenger said, "By Him Who has sent you with the Truth, I did not come to you till I had left it like an emancipated or gabby camel (i.e. completely marred and spoilt)." Jarir added, "The Prophet (ﷺ) asked for Allah's Blessings for the horses and the men of Ahmas five times

Rapporté par Jarir : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) m’a dit : « Veux-tu me débarrasser de Dhul-Khalasa ? » Dhul-Khalasa était un sanctuaire (d’une idole) appartenant à la tribu de Khath’am, appelé la Ka`ba du Yémen. Je suis donc parti avec cent cinquante cavaliers de la tribu d’Ahmas, qui étaient d’excellents cavaliers. Il se trouve que je n’arrivais pas à bien tenir à cheval, alors le Prophète (ﷺ) m’a frappé la poitrine jusqu’à ce que je voie la marque de ses doigts sur ma poitrine, puis il a dit : « Ô Allah ! Rends-le ferme et fais de lui un guide bien guidé. » Jarir est parti vers ce sanctuaire, l’a démoli et brûlé. Ensuite, il a envoyé un messager au Messager d’Allah pour l’en informer. Le messager de Jarir a dit : « Par Celui qui t’a envoyé avec la Vérité, je ne suis venu à toi qu’après l’avoir laissé comme une chamelle libérée (c’est-à-dire complètement détruit et ruiné). » Jarir a ajouté : « Le Prophète (ﷺ) a invoqué la bénédiction d’Allah pour les chevaux et les hommes d’Ahmas cinq fois. »
