حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَالِكَ بْنَ أَنَسٍ، سَأَلَ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَسْلَمَ، فَقَالَ زَيْدٌ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ، قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ حَمَلْتُ عَلَى فَرَسٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، فَرَأَيْتُهُ يُبَاعُ، فَسَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم آشْتَرِيهِ فَقَالَ " لاَ تَشْتَرِهِ، وَلاَ تَعُدْ فِي صَدَقَتِكَ ".
Narrated `Umar bin Al-Khattab:I gave a horse to be used in Allah's Cause, but later on I saw it being sold. I asked the Prophet (ﷺ) whether I could buy it. He said, "Don't buy it and don't take back your gift of charityRapporté par `Umar bin Al-Khattab : J'ai donné un cheval pour qu'il soit utilisé dans la voie d'Allah, mais plus tard, je l'ai vu en train d'être vendu. J'ai demandé au Prophète (ﷺ) si je pouvais l'acheter. Il a dit : « Ne l'achète pas et ne reprends pas ton don de charité. »Grades given by scholars
