حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شِهَابٍ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ، قَالَ انْصَرَفْتُ مِنْ عِنْدِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، فَقَالَ لَنَا أَنَا وَصَاحِبٌ لِي ‏ "‏ أَذِّنَا وَأَقِيمَا، وَلْيَؤُمَّكُمَا أَكْبَرُكُمَا ‏"‏‏.‏

Narrated Malik bin Al-Huwairith:On my departure from the Prophet (ﷺ) he said to me and to a friend of mine, "You two, pronounce the Adhan and the Iqama for the prayer and let the elder of you lead the prayer

Rapporté par Malik bin Al-Huwairith : Au moment de mon départ du Prophète (ﷺ), il a dit à moi et à un ami : « Vous deux, faites l’Adhan et l’Iqama pour la prière, et que le plus âgé d’entre vous dirige la prière. »
