Narrated `Abdullah bin `Abbas:That Abu Sufyan told him that Heraclius said to him, "I asked you about the outcome of your battles with him (i.e. the Prophet (ﷺ) ) and you told me that you fought each other with alternate success. So the Apostles are tested in this way but the ultimate victory is always theirsRapporté par `Abdullah bin `Abbas : Abu Sufyan lui a dit qu'Héraclius lui avait dit : Je t'ai demandé quel était le résultat de vos batailles contre lui (c'est-à-dire le Prophète (ﷺ)) et tu m'as dit que vous vous battiez chacun avec des succès alternés. Ainsi, les Prophètes sont éprouvés de cette manière mais la victoire finale leur revient toujoursGrades given by scholars
