Sahih al-Bukhari, 2671

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:Hilal bin Umaiya accused his wife before the Prophet (ﷺ) of committing illegal sexual intercourse with Sharik bin Sahma.' The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Produce a proof, or else you would get the legal punishment (by being lashed) on your back." Hilal said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! If anyone of us saw another man over his wife, would he go to search for a proof." The Prophet (ﷺ) went on saying, "Produce a proof or else you would get the legal punishment (by being lashed) on your back." The Prophet (ﷺ) then mentioned the narration of Lian (as in the Holy Book). (Surat-al-Nur:)

Rapporté par Ibn `Abbas : Hilal bin Umaiya a accusé sa femme devant le Prophète (ﷺ) d’avoir commis un acte sexuel illicite avec Sharik bin Sahma. Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Apporte une preuve, sinon tu recevras la peine légale (des coups de fouet) sur ton dos. » Hilal a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ! Si l’un de nous voyait un autre homme avec sa femme, irait-il chercher une preuve ? » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a continué en disant : « Apporte une preuve, sinon tu recevras la peine légale (des coups de fouet) sur ton dos. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a ensuite mentionné le récit du Lian (comme dans le Livre Saint).
