Sahih (authentic)by the collection
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever frees his share of a common slave and he has sufficient money to free him completely, should let its price be estimated by a just man and give his partners the price of their shares and manumit the slave; otherwise (i.e. if he has not sufficient money) he manumits the slave partiallyRapporté par `Abdullah bin `Umar : Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Celui qui affranchit sa part d'un esclave commun et qui a assez d'argent pour l'affranchir complètement, doit faire estimer le prix par une personne juste, donner à ses partenaires la valeur de leurs parts et affranchir l'esclave. »Grades given by scholars
