Narrated Abu Huraira:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever manumits his share of a jointly possessed slave, it is imperative for him to get that slave manumitted completely by paying the remaining price, and if he does not have sufficient money to manumit him, then the price of the slave should be estimated justly, and he is to be allowed to work and earn the amount that will manumit him (without overburdening him)Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Celui qui affranchit sa part d’un esclave possédé en commun doit le faire affranchir complètement en payant le reste du prix. S’il n’a pas assez d’argent pour cela, alors la valeur de l’esclave doit être estimée équitablement, et il doit être autorisé à travailler pour gagner la somme nécessaire à son affranchissement, sans le surcharger. »Grades given by scholars
