Sahih al-Bukhari, 2324

Narrated Abu Huraira:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "While a man was riding a cow, it turned towards him and said, 'I have not been created for this purpose (i.e. carrying), I have been created for ploughing." The Prophet (ﷺ) added, "I, Abu Bakr and `Umar believe in the story." The Prophet (ﷺ) went on, "A wolf caught a sheep, and when the shepherd chased it, the wolf said, 'Who will be its guard on the day of wild beasts, when there will be no shepherd for it except me?' "After narrating it, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I, Abu Bakr and `Umar too believe it." Abu Salama (a sub-narrator) said, "Abu Bakr and `Umar were not present then

Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Un homme montait une vache, elle s’est retournée vers lui et a dit : “Je n’ai pas été créée pour cela (être montée), j’ai été créée pour labourer.” » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a ajouté : « Moi, Abu Bakr et `Umar croyons à cette histoire. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a continué : « Un loup a attrapé une brebis, et quand le berger l’a poursuivi, le loup a dit : “Qui la gardera le jour où les bêtes sauvages sortiront, quand il n’y aura plus de berger pour elle sauf moi ?” » Après avoir raconté cela, le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Moi, Abu Bakr et `Umar aussi, nous y croyons. » Abu Salama (un sous-narrateur) a précisé : « Abu Bakr et `Umar n’étaient pas présents à ce moment-là. »
