Sahih al-Bukhari, 1556

Narrated Aisha:(the wife of the Prophet (ﷺ) We set out with the Prophet (ﷺ) in his last Hajj and we assumed Ihram for Umra. The Prophet (ﷺ) then said, "Whoever has the Hadi with him should assume Ihram for Hajj along with `Umra and should not finish the Ihram till he finishes both." I was menstruating when I reached Mecca, and so I neither did Tawaf round the Ka`ba nor Tawaf between Safa and Marwa. I complained about that to the Prophet (ﷺ) on which he replied, "Undo and comb your head hair, and assume Ihram for Hajj (only) and leave the Umra." So, I did so. When we had performed the Hajj, the Prophet sent me with my brother `Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Bakr to Tan`im. So I performed the `Umra. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to me, "This `Umra is instead of your missed one." Those who had assumed Ihram for `Umra (Hajj-at-Tamattu) performed Tawaf round the Ka`ba and between Safa and Marwa and then finished their Ihram. After returning from Mina, they performed another Tawaf (between Safa and Marwa). Those who had assumed Ihram for Hajj and `Umra together (Hajj-al-Qiran) performed only one Tawaf (between Safa and Marwa)

Rapporté par Aïcha (l'épouse du Prophète ﷺ) : Nous sommes partis avec le Prophète (ﷺ) pour son dernier pèlerinage et nous avons pris l'Ihram pour la 'Umra. Le Prophète (ﷺ) a alors dit : « Celui qui a le Hadi avec lui doit prendre l'Ihram pour le Hajj en même temps que la 'Umra et ne doit pas sortir de l'Ihram avant d'avoir terminé les deux. » J'avais mes règles en arrivant à La Mecque, donc je n'ai pas fait le Tawaf autour de la Kaaba ni le Tawaf entre Safa et Marwa. J'en ai parlé au Prophète (ﷺ) et il m'a répondu : « Dénoue et peigne tes cheveux, prends l'Ihram pour le Hajj seulement et laisse la 'Umra. » J'ai fait ce qu'il a dit. Après avoir accompli le Hajj, le Prophète m'a envoyée avec mon frère 'Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Bakr à Tan'im. J'ai alors accompli la 'Umra. Le Prophète (ﷺ) m'a dit : « Cette 'Umra remplace celle que tu as manquée. » Ceux qui avaient pris l'Ihram pour la 'Umra (Hajj-at-Tamattu) ont fait le Tawaf autour de la Kaaba et entre Safa et Marwa, puis sont sortis de l'Ihram. Après être revenus de Mina, ils ont fait un autre Tawaf (entre Safa et Marwa). Ceux qui avaient pris l'Ihram pour le Hajj et la 'Umra ensemble (Hajj-al-Qiran) n'ont fait qu'un seul Tawaf (entre Safa et Marwa)
