Sahih al-Bukhari, 1321

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) passed by a grave of a deceased who had been buried at night. He said, "When was this (deceased) buried?" The people said, "Yesterday." He said, "Why did you not inform me?" They said, "We buried him when it was dark and so we disliked to wake you up." He stood up and we lined up behind him. (Ibn `Abbas said): I was one of them, and the Prophet (ﷺ) offered the funeral prayer

Rapporté par Ibn `Abbas : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) est passé près d’une tombe d’un défunt qui avait été enterré la nuit. Il a demandé : « Quand cette personne a-t-elle été enterrée ? » Les gens ont répondu : « Hier. » Il a dit : « Pourquoi ne m’en avez-vous pas informé ? » Ils ont répondu : « Nous l’avons enterré dans l’obscurité et nous n’avons pas voulu te réveiller. » Il s’est alors levé et nous nous sommes alignés derrière lui. (Ibn `Abbas a dit) : J’étais parmi eux, et le Prophète (ﷺ) a accompli la prière funéraire
