Sunan Abi Dawud, 5049

Hudhaifah said :when the prophet (May peace be upon him) lay down on his bed (at night), he would say: O Allah! In Thy name I die and live. When he awoke, he said: praise be to Allah who has given us life after causing us to die and to whom we shall be resurrected

Rapporté par Hudhaifah : Lorsque le Prophète ﷺ s’allongeait sur son lit la nuit, il disait : « Ô Allah ! C’est en Ton nom que je meurs et que je vis. » Et quand il se réveillait, il disait : « Louange à Allah qui nous a donné la vie après nous avoir fait mourir, et c’est vers Lui que nous serons ressuscités. »
