Sunan Abi Dawud, 4755

‘A’ishah said that she thought of Hell and wept. The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) asked her :What makes you weep ? She replied : I thought of Hell and wept. Will you remember your family on the 4th Day of resurrection ? the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) said : There are three places where no one will remember anyone: at the scale until one knows whether his weight is light or heavy; at (the examination of) the book when one is commanded : Take and read Allah’s record, until he knows whether his book will be put into his right hand, or into his left hand, or behind his back ; and the path when it is placed across JAHANNAM

Rapporté par Aishah (la mère des croyants) رضي الله عنها : Elle a dit qu’elle pensait à l’Enfer et s’est mise à pleurer. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ lui demanda : « Qu’est-ce qui te fait pleurer ? » Elle répondit : « J’ai pensé à l’Enfer et j’ai pleuré. Est-ce que tu te souviendras de ta famille le Jour de la Résurrection ? » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ répondit : « Il y a trois moments où personne ne pensera à personne : au moment de la pesée des actes, jusqu’à ce qu’on sache si son poids est lourd ou léger ; au moment où l’on reçoit le livre des actes, quand il sera dit : “Prends et lis le registre d’Allah”, jusqu’à ce qu’on sache si son livre sera remis dans sa main droite, sa main gauche ou derrière son dos ; et au moment où le pont sera placé au-dessus de JAHANNAM. »
