Sunan Abi Dawud, 4397

‘A’ishah said :A Makhzuml woman used to borrow goods and deny having received them. The prophet (ﷺ) gave orders that her hand should be cut off. He (the narrator) then narrated the tradition similar to the one transmitted by Qutaibah from al-Laith from Ibn Shahib. This version adds: The prophet(ﷺ) had her hand cut off

‘A’ishah رضي الله عنها a dit : Une femme de la tribu Makhzum empruntait des objets puis niait les avoir reçus. Le Prophète ﷺ a ordonné qu’on lui coupe la main. (Le narrateur a ensuite rapporté la tradition similaire à celle transmise par Qutaibah d’al-Laith d’Ibn Shahib. Cette version ajoute : Le Prophète ﷺ a fait couper sa main)
