Sunan Abi Dawud, 4323

Abu al-Darda’ reported the prophet (ﷺ) as saying :If anyone memorizes ten verses from the beginning of surat al-Kahf, he will be protected from the trial of Dajjal (Antichrist). Abu Dawud said: In this way Hashim al-dastawa’I transmitted it from Qatadah, but he said : “If anyone memorizes the closing verses of surat al-Kahf.” Shu’bah narrated from Qatadah the words “from the end of al-Kahf

Rapporté par Abu al-Darda’ رضي الله عنه : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Celui qui mémorise dix versets du début de la sourate al-Kahf sera protégé contre l’épreuve du Dajjal (l’Antéchrist). » Abu Dawud a dit : Hashim al-Dastawa’i l’a rapporté ainsi de Qatadah, mais il a dit : “Celui qui mémorise les derniers versets de la sourate al-Kahf.” Shu‘bah a rapporté de Qatadah les mots : “à la fin de la sourate al-Kahf.”
