Sunan Abi Dawud, 4277

Narrated Sa'id ibn Zayd: We were with the Prophet (ﷺ). He mentioned civil strife (fitnah) and expressed its gravity. We or the people said: Messenger of Allah, if this happens to us it will destroy us. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said; No. It is enough for you that you would be killed. Sa'id said: I saw that my brethren were killed

Rapporté par Sa’id ibn Zayd : Nous étions avec le Prophète ﷺ. Il a parlé des troubles (fitnah) et a montré à quel point c’était grave. Nous, ou les gens, avons dit : « Messager d’Allah, si cela nous arrive, cela nous détruira. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Non. Il suffira que vous soyez tués. » Sa’id a dit : « J’ai vu que mes frères ont été tués. »
