Sunan Abi Dawud, 4219

The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Ibn 'Umar through a different chain of narrators from the Prophet (ﷺ). This version adds:He engraved on it "Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah." and said: "No one must engrave anything in the manner of this signet-ring of mine. La tradition mentionnée ci-dessus a aussi été transmise par Ibn ‘Umar رضي الله عنه par une autre chaîne de rapporteurs du Prophète ﷺ. Cette version ajoute : Il y fit graver : « Muhammad, le Messager d’Allah » et dit : « Personne ne doit graver quoi que ce soit de la même manière que ma bague-sceau. » Puis il transmit le reste de la tradition
